Head of Sales
Hybrid — Hasselt and remote · full-time
- Hybrid · Hasselt + remote
- Full-time
- Start: January 2027
We're building the operating system for video production agencies — one platform replacing the Notion + Slack + Drive + spreadsheet stack these teams run on today. Bootstrapped, founded in Belgium, and we run our own production agency on the product, which means we sell software we use ourselves every day.
Every deal so far has been closed by one of the two founders. That worked to get the first customers, and it is why the next hundred are not happening: Thomas cannot both run client relationships and build a sales function. This is the job of building that function, from the first process to the first person you hire into it.
What you'd own
Revenue, and the machine that produces it. Not a seat in someone else's pipeline — there is no pipeline yet in the sense a salesperson would recognise. There is a product people pay for, a market that has not been sold to properly, and demo requests arriving faster than we answer them.
In a normal week:
- Run the demos. They are the primary way anyone becomes a customer, and right now a founder takes them
- Build outbound. Agencies and studios across Belgium, the Netherlands and further out — nobody is doing this for us today
- Turn what you hear into a repeatable story: which objection keeps coming back, which segment closes fastest, what we should stop saying
- Own the numbers — pipeline, conversion, churn — and tell the founders the truth about them, including when it's disappointing
- Work directly with product. You will be the person who knows why deals are lost, and that has to reach the people building the thing
Who we're looking for
- You have sold B2B software and closed deals yourself, start to finish. Not managed a team that did
- You build pipeline from nothing. If your last role handed you inbound, this one will feel like a different job
- You can hold a technical conversation with a production company about how they actually work, and hear the difference between a real objection and a polite one
- Dutch and English, both fluent enough to sell in. Most of the near market is Flemish and Dutch; the product and the wider market are English
- You're comfortable being the first commercial hire: no playbook, no marketing team, no SDR. What exists is what you build
- Bonus: you have sold to agencies, studios or creative teams before, or you have worked inside one
The title says Head of Sales because that is where it leads. On day one it is an individual contributor job.
Why this is worth your time
The product is live and paid for, so you are not selling a promise. You will sit in the same room as the people who build it, which means a thing a customer needs can go from a call to shipped in the same week — very few sales jobs offer that. And because there is no sales organisation yet, the shape of the one we end up with is the one you draw.
The honest counterweight: this is early. The category is not established, the brand does not open doors yet, and some months will be harder than the forecast. If that reads as a warning rather than an invitation, this is not the job.
The setup
- Hybrid, full-time: part of the week at the office in Hasselt, part of it wherever you work best. Not a fully remote job — being in the room matters — and not five days at a desk either
- A base salary plus commission on what you close. We will agree the package with you rather than hand you one
- Starting January 2027
- You report to Thomas and work alongside both founders
- The agency team downstairs, using the product all day
How to apply
Apply through the form — it takes about ten minutes.
One question asks you to describe a deal you nearly lost: what the customer actually cared about, what you changed, and how it ended. That is the question we actually read. A deal you lost is a fine answer if you know why you lost it.
Rather ask something first? Mail jobs@contentmaker.space. A sharp question is a fine way to apply.
